Our oldest has left the nest and I have been Homeschooling our 6 year old for 2 years and love the adventure.

Kids say the darndest things!


I took this picture because earlier today he wanted to be a Super Hero and he said" Mom I need my goggles "
I think he looks like the hero's in the movie " Mystery Men" or " Scuba Steve" from The Movie "Big Daddy"


I was at work the other night and Mike and Kainoa were out running errands and Kainoa was crying and said" I want my Mommy" and Mike said "Shes at work honey" and Kainoa said " But I can hear her" That just melts my heart.

Doesn't that make your heart actually physically ache?! Its such a weird thing, you know you (and they) need time away from you, but you still spend that time wishing they were there.
